A lipid panel measures five different types of lipids from a blood sample, including your Total Cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, VLDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and Triglycerides.  We beleive the terms "good" and "bad" cholesterol are a misnomer, and prefer to have a more nuenced conversation with our clients about their cholesteral numbers.  We encrouage you to either reach out to us, or discuss your levels with a doctor who understands how to interpret your results.
